Product Description
Insulin-Transferrin-Selenium Supplement (100×) contains important substances such as Insulin, Transferrin, and Sodium Selenite, which are indicated for cell growth and differentiation in vitro. They promote cell proliferation and reduce the serum concentrations required for a variety of cell maintenance and low-density apposition.
- Insulin can promote glucose and amino acid uptake, lipogenesis, monovalent cation and phosphate transport, protein, and nucleic acid synthesis.
- Transferrin serves as a carrier for iron and may also help to reduce toxic levels of oxygen radicals and peroxide.
- Selenite is a co-factor for glutathione peroxidase and other proteins and is used as an anti-oxidant in media.
Production process: This product is prepared by using Water-For-Injection (WFI), and the production procedure is strictly in accordance with the cGMP management regulations, and is completed in the clean room for the record of in vitro diagnostic reagents. 2. Promoting chondrogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells
After the addition of MeilunCell® ITS Supplement (100×) to human umbilical cord mesenchymal induced differentiation medium, the presence of proteins such as chondroitin sulphate and gliadin sulphate was demonstrated by the slice of chondrocyte spheroids and Alcian Blue staining after 21 days, showing typical chondrogenic differentiation.
